- I am an English student at Augusta State University in Georgia. I am also an avid sports fan. My favorite teams are in Georgia and include the Falcons, Braves, Hawks, and Dawgs. I follow football much more closely than either basketball or baseball. Being in this town also forces me to comment on the Masters golf tournament; I will do so. I have been a fan of literature for a much shorter time than I have been of sport. I was born into sport; I discovered literature. As a result of my late entry into literature, my knowledge of great works is more limited than the dedicated reader's may be. I am not a big fan of modern literature, though the few novels I have read are good. As a whole, I think that modern literature teaches little and costs much. This blog will deal with both disciplines, and in no particular order. I will likely comment on sports more than literature. More games are played in one week than books read by me in the same time. This blog is merely my opinion and I hope to hear yours in return. Enjoy.
